A message from the Auto Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia,
owner and producer of the Philadelphia Auto Show
To our fans,
The Philadelphia Auto Show has a rich history in our community. It is the only show we produce, and it is in our blood. So, like you, we are disappointed in the decision of several manufacturers not to participate in this year’s show.
This is not unique to Philadelphia, as some manufacturers are opting out of various auto shows across the country. The stance for many has been to invest in more digital opportunities rather than in-person, interactive experiences. They can measure, follow, and re-market.
We believe they are missing the point.
Seeing a product - particularly one of high cost and value - on a computer screen or TV commercial is not the same as sitting in and “trying on” the vehicle in a non-selling atmosphere. There is nothing like it. Nothing.
We want you to know that we recognize and share your disappointment, and we are offering an opportunity for you to speak your mind. You, the customer, have the most influential voice to convince the manufacturers of the importance of having the ability to tangibly compare all your vehicle options under one roof. We assure you that every response we receive on this site will be shared with the manufacturers.
So please, tell us how you feel. And thank you for supporting your Philadelphia Auto Show.
